education
Education, whether formal or informal, is what enables people to make informed decisions about the world in which they live. Education is vital for conserving life in our oceans, which is why the Sanctuary programs aim to enlighten and excite.
Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, often in partnership with the non-profit group Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association, supports several exciting and innovative education programs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
