The historic partnership between Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, the Army Corps of Engineers and Marin County Open Space District has been successful!

The goal of the project was to develop a Locally Preferred Plan that addresses human impacts and helps to maintain a healthy lagoon ecosystem. Through the efforts and dedication of the Working Group, the Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoartion Project: Recommendations for Restoration and Management has been finalizied!

The Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Project was presented and approved by the Sanctuary Advisory Council on July 25, 2008. The recommendations have been forwarded onto Marin County Open Space District and the Army Corps of Engineers.
